Inbound traffic shall proceed via MARIEBY, BRINGÅSEN, LUNDKÄLEN or BRUNFLO. – We are right next to Östersund’s control zone, and the entry point Marieby is south of the Marieby church! – Östersund’s control zone extends up to 3050 feet, but please note that Östersund TMA above Optand starts at 2300 feet! – When takeoff runway 18 and landing runway 36, avoid the buildings in the direction of the runway. – Östersund Tower (ESNZ) is closed for large parts of the day, but always call them (135.655) and double-check with Sweden (132.155) before entering controlled airspace and before switching to Östersund Flying Club (123.550). |
